Job description

SITE SUPPORT

Essential functions\duties:

  • Adhere to and enforce Client policies, procedures and project documents, including the Stop Work Authority and the Structured Feedback.
  • Ensure the compliance of safety and environmental requirements during project execution, according to company, local and federal rules and regulations.
  • The Site Support is responsible for supporting the Site Manager\Coordinator and Commissioning Manager on management of construction activities: technical aspects, planning and organization, meetings, reporting.
  • Review, collect and manage site project documentation and reports, ensuring accuracy and proper storage of project data.
  • Ensure site is in accordance with Operational Instruction (OI) and Operational Procedures (OP) and support the editing, dissemination and training of OI and OP documents; notifying Site Manager of discrepancies.
  • Support the Site Manager in the collection and reporting of sustainability and environmental data using applicable reporting programs and tools.
  • Review, collect and manage site project documentation and reports, ensuring accuracy and proper storage of project data.
  • Prepare, distribute and electronically file Plan of the Day (POD) and Weekly Construction Reports (WCR).
  • Manage the setup of construction office space and stock supplies.
  • Manage site purchases orders, submitting Purchase Requests, invoices and delivery receipts.
  • Assess, monitor and verify site information\reports monitoring: KPIs and the impact on work completion, change orders, schedule deviations and/or delays, and contract and permit availability.
  • Monitor and assess the site management tools to optimize and improve the form\standard\data record\data analysis.
  • Document all "Lessons Learned" throughout the project and submit to the Site Coordinator/Site Manager for record keeping.
  • Attend meetings, conference calls and company events as requested.
  • Advise, teach, coach and mentor site construction teams, both internal and external.
  • Test, pilot and provide feedback on central and global initiatives, through direct and indirect participation.
  • Develop and enhance positive relations with contractors, landowners and community members during the construction phase.

  • Site Book (Contract documentation, Site Notes, Pencil copies, Inspection reports)
  • Payments recording
  • Share-point folder of the Project

Main Accountability

  • Collection and Distribution of Site Notes and Mails\Documents from the Site Management and Daily Inspection Reports from the supervisors
  • Support the Site Coordinator in the site data collection for the management of Construction Indicators
  • Provide support in the reporting and site documentation management
  • Monitor and Track the contractor documentations, permits, authorization, landlord agreements
  • Monitor and Track the pencil copies for the payments
  • Check the safety clothes availability and manage site offices and relevant office device (printer, facilities, plotter, paper and so on)
  • Organize meetings and trips
  • Monitor and track site team\personnel presence and daily work assignment
  • Requirements:
  • AA, Construction Management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years in construction industry.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 100% of time, including temporary assignment to projects and relocation between projects with short notice.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and federal, state, and local legal requirements as they apply to construction activities.
  • Ability to follow safety and security procedures and determine appropriate action, stopping and reporting potentially unsafe works.
  • Knowledge of purchasing, contracting and technical specifications.
  • Ability to pull information from spreadsheets, analyze data from various sources, and prepare information for monthly reporting
  • Advanced time management and organizational skills with ability to work cross functionally.
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to work in an international, multicultural team, with contractors and all other parties involved in the construction phase.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in challenging, fast-paced projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Power Point) and ability to learn and use construction software and applications (BlueBeam, Collector, Survey123, etc.).
  • Ability to utilize tablet and smartphone for daily work activities and creation of reports in company software and ability to apply technology innovations into daily construction activities.
  • Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments in adverse and extreme weather conditions and in confined spaces.
  • Valid Driver's License;
