Job description

Process House Site Manager - Wind US Onshore

Summary

  • On behalf of project management be responsible for safe execution of projects on site within the project's timeframe and financial restraints according to the contract and OEMs principles. While continuing to protect OEM's interests the SM should endeavour to maintain a good relationship with the customer and focus on customer satisfaction
  • In accordance with the contract and QA/EHS system be compliant with local legislation and in accordance with OEM's internal guidelines at all times

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for organisational site setup and daily management on site
  • Overall responsible for the site organisation, site administration setup and general site facilities
  • Overall responsible for communication internally and externally
  • Ensure financial control of the project
  • Overall ESH responsible on site
  • Responsible for executing project targets/milestones
  • Responsible for efficient implementation of the project in compliance with customer and subcontractor contracts
  • Responsible for monitoring parts, equipment and tools on site
  • Responsible for ensuring that installation work is performed in agreement with QA regulations/standards of SWP
  • Responsible for continuous improvements on site and participate in and support business improvement programs
  • The employee is obligated to keep him- or herself informed of the QA system and the procedures related to the position and to work in accordance with the requirements defined in the QA system
  • The employee is obligated to keep him- or herself informed of the Siemens Process House and the procedures related to the position and to work in accordance with the requirements defined in the Process House
  • The employee is obligated to keep him- or herself informed of the procedures relevant to the position. This includes waste sorting and handling of chemicals in the work area. The employee is obligated to react on observed nonconformities to the written procedures and to contribute to the improvement of the environment

Competencies

  • Technical/practical education or mechanical/constructional experience
  • Ability to work within a process environment
  • Experience in working with complex contracts
  • Experience in managing and leading teams and working with subcontractors and clients
  • Experience in working in a multicultural environment
  • English orally and in writing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Management, including coaching and mentoring
  • Good cultural understanding
