Job description

Wetland Delineator or Wetland Scientist
Requirements: A Master's degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Ecology, Botany, or related field. Must be able to conduct field work in remote locations and be comfortable in the field environment. Must be able to compose technical reports from the results of field investigations. Recognizes importance of consistent procedures and protocols. Local candidates are highly preferred.

Skills: 8+ years relevant professional work experience. Work experience should include substantial skill with wetland delineation and functional assessments (preferably in Texas), impact and permit assessments, and preparation of delineation reports, USACE Section 404/10 permit applications, and mitigation plans. Experience with GIS and GPS technologies required. Computer skills should include the MS Office Suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Preferred that candidate would have wetland scientist training and/or be a Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS).
